An exciting Regional Procurement (x1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the most respected global manufacturing firms based in Bangkok (CBD). In this job, you will lead s strategic sourcing and procurement and play a business partner role for the organisation.
About the Regional Procurement Manager Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining strategic sourcing for both direct and indirect categories and centralising them. You will also take the lead providing direction to all sourcing and procurement-related activities. You will enjoy competitive base salary with performance bonus for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy and execute regional procurement strategies for direct and indirect categories and in close coordination with internal regional business partners
- Set commercial framework for the relevant categories and suppliers and strive to meet the mutually agreed global procurement targets
- Screening the supplier markets for the relevant categories to find potential suppliers locally to challenge the global supply base and create competition in global categories and projects
- Ensuring excellent communication flow between global procurement with the group
To succeed in the Regional Procurement Manager job, you will need to have proven track record in strategic procurement and able to work effectively with teams across the region.
Key Requirements:
- Successful, solid experience in a similar role in a consensus based partnership culture
- Ability to develop overall sourcing and procurement strategy and plans
- Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills
- A regional perspective, with sensitivity to multiple and diverse cultures
