Sourcing Manager

An exciting Sourcing Manager (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the best global manufacturing in chemical product and solution companies based in Chachoengsao, Thailand. Reporting directly to the President, this is a role for a Sourcing Specialist who is experienced in sourcing industrial chemicals such as rubber and foam as well as able to manage and work day-to-day operations together with the team.

About the Sourcing Manager Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for sourcing both direct and indirect materials. You will also take care of planning and logistics management to on time deliver materials to production line. Also, managing the team of three people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and contact vendors for local and imported direct and indirect materials to purchase them at the best quality and right price
• Source new materials both new market and new alternative vendors with cost saving, right specification, and meet quality as requirement
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to import direct materials and control delivery schedule according to users & Master Plan Schedule (MPS) requirement
• Coordinating with BOI for importing materials and machines including prepare BOI document and handle export clearance document for customer
• Operate purchasing activities such as quote the quotation, issuing purchasing order, request sample of materials, etc.
• Improve process and initiate cost saving project
• Maintain and support quality system
• Response to other assignments upon request from management team

To succeed in the Source Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with other teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
• At least five years' work experience in sourcing, procurement, and logistics focusing on manufacturing industry
• Experienced and having knowledge in Import & Export process and regulation, customer clearance, BOI
• Strong analytical, organisational skills, and able to lead and coach the team
• Proven ability to work under pressure, planning, and people management skills
• High level of proficiency in English (listening, reading, writing, speaking)
• Proven ability in MS Office
