Our client is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all beverage products comply with local and international regulations, including product registration, labeling, and packaging requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in the launch of new products by managing all regulatory aspects from development to commercialization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in regulatory affairs within the food and beverage industry.

What you'll do:


As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, your role will be integral to the successful launch of new products. You will manage all regulatory aspects from development to commercialization. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing regulatory compliance throughout new product development, identifying potential risks early on, and securing necessary approvals. You will also be responsible for managing product registration with the Thai FDA for both local and imported products. Your ability to develop strong networks with local trade associations, scientific organizations, and regulators will ensure effective communication of industry perspectives.


* Oversee regulatory compliance throughout new product development, ensuring all necessary approvals are secured.
* Identify and mitigate regulatory risks early in the development phase.
* Manage product registration and amendments with the Thai FDA for both local, imported, and exported products.
* Develop and verify Product Label Specifications (PLS), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Review and advise on product claims for labels and all communication channels, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Engage with regulatory authorities to facilitate registrations, clarify regulations, and address inquiries.
* Support in applying for and renewing relevant permits and licenses.
* Build strong networks with local trade associations, scientific organizations, and regulators.
* Monitor regulatory changes and new developments in food/beverage regulations.
* Educate and train internal teams on regulatory issues.


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Regulatory Affairs Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the food and beverage industry. With at least 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, you have a deep understanding of Thailand's food laws and global regulatory standards. Your proficiency in English and Thai, coupled with your strong computer skills, will be essential in this role. Your adaptability in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving abilities, and detail-oriented nature will make you a valuable asset to the team.


* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related fields.
* 5+ years of Regulatory Affairs experience in the food and beverage industry.
* 3+ years handling FDA product registration.
* Expertise in Thailand’s food laws and global regulatory standards.
* Native Thai speaker with good written and spoken English skills.
* Proficient in computer skills, including regulatory software and documentation management.
* Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team.
