Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Import and Custom Clearance to join their team in Bangkok. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing systems and policies for import documentation process and compliance, including accurate product classification, adherence to statutory regulations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver market intelligence and insights to management, manage customs clearance processes, tariff application, and eligibility for free trade and origin certificates.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Import and Custom Clearance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the import strategy of the organisation. Your expertise in developing systems for import documentation process, compliance, tracking logistics data, managing customs clearance processes will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for delivering market intelligence to management, providing proactive solutions for disruptions, resolving escalated issues, ensuring timely delivery to warehouses. Your ability to manage customs clearance processes, tariff application, eligibility for free trade will be key in driving the success of the organisation.
