Our client is seeking a Regulatory Affairs and Import Specialist to join their team in Bangkok. This role is integral to the company's operations, ensuring smooth import processes, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics. What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Affairs and Import Specialist, your role will be pivotal in managing the company's import processes. You will handle crucial documentation for customs clearance while coordinating with various agents and Thai customs. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring FDA compliance and managing import licenses with relevant authorities. Overseeing logistics for import shipments will be a key part of your role along with handling freight inquiries. You will also manage warehouse inventory while optimizing supply chain processes. Acting as a liaison across various teams, you will play an essential role in maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Manage documentation for customs clearance including BL, PL, invoices, and FTA forms
  • Coordinate with agents and Thai customs for seamless operations
  • Ensure FDA compliance and manage import licenses with authorities like DLD, FDA, and DIW
  • Oversee logistics for import shipments and coordinate warehouse transport
  • Handle freight inquiries and validate shipping and warehousing invoices
  • Manage warehouse inventory including annual audits and inventory alignment with headquarters
  • Optimize supply chain processes to ensure material availability and customer satisfaction
  • Act as liaison across internal teams, suppliers, customers, and service providers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Regulatory Affairs and Import Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in logistics. With at least 5 years in a similar position, you understand the intricacies of managing imports and exports on various modes of transport. Your background includes education or training in logistics or warehousing. You are familiar with dangerous goods management and have experience working with regulatory bodies. Fluent English communication skills are essential for this role. A structured, independent approach to work coupled with a strong sense of responsibility will set you apart. Knowledge of QuickBooks ERP software would be a bonus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within logistics
  • Education or training in logistics and warehousing or similar field
  • Basic knowledge about dangerous goods management and logistics
  • Established knowledge of import and export shipment on usual modes of transports and custom clearance process
  • Experience with regulatory works
  • Fluent English speaking , writing and understanding skills
  • Structured ,independent and result oriented principle of operation
  • Highly proactive with strong sense of responsibilities
  • Basic know-how of QuickBooks ERP software is an advantage
