Customs & Trade Specialist

An exciting Customs & Trade Specialist (x1 vacancy) job has just become available in a leading petrochemical manufacturing company in Thailand. Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, you will lead the expansion of their business in the region.

About the Customs & Trade Specialist Role:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, your main role is to improve the foreign trade and proactively support the business development in the region. The salary range for this role is THB 80k - 120K + Provident Fund + Allowances + Bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing and initiating and implementing to reach the most advantage of all foreign trade agreements and domestics privilege according to the appropriation of project or business model
• Improving the classification process with most appropriate coding for the region according to global guidelines
• Working with local brokers and customs classification verbal rulings and binding rulings
• Improving the complete import / export processes including usage of brokers and system utilisation
• Ensure master data are maintenance for appropriate HS codes

To excel in this position, you are required to possess at least five years' proven experience in customs and foreign trade management role.

Key Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business field or any related disciplines
• Proven leadership qualities as well as a vast experience in customs classification
• Excellent understanding of demand and supply planning concepts
• Project management , customs and SAP experience is highly valued
• International working experience especially in SEA will be an advantage
• Customs brokerage certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
