What you'll do:
As the Managing Director for the Logistics and Warehouse department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the company. Your responsibilities will include establishing an Integrated Management Systems policy-based governance system, ensuring financial resources are adequately available, approving annual budgets, and being accountable for the organization's performance. You will also be tasked with leading yearly business planning and budget processes, optimizing business assets and human resources, developing strong relationships within customer organizations, managing internal processes/workflows in compliance with company rules, assisting in maintaining a positive company culture, and effectively managing headcount and staff performance.
- Establish an Integrated Management Systems policy-based governance system
- Ensure availability of adequate financial resources
- Approve annual budgets and account for the organization’s performance
- Be responsible for profit & loss of responsible area
- Lead yearly business planning and budget process
- Optimize utilization of business assets and human resources
- Develop strong relationships within customer organizations
- Manage internal processes/workflows in compliance with company rules
- Assist in maintaining positive company culture
- Effectively manage headcount and performance of staff
What you bring:
The successful candidate for this Managing Director role will bring at least 10 years of solid experience as a management executive in the logistics or warehouse business. You will have demonstrated strong leadership skills throughout your career, along with an understanding of financial management principles. A high level of commercial awareness is essential for this role, as well as excellent communication skills. Your organizational skills will be top-notch, allowing you to manage larger teams effectively. Additionally, you must be able to read, write and speak fluently in both English and Chinese.
