Customer Service Manager – Logistics Location: Bangkok Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A well-established logistics provider in Bangkok is looking for a Customer Service Manager – Logistics to lead its customer service and operations function. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in forwarding or logistics who enjoys combining operational excellence with people leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, building strong client relationships, and developing a dependable, high-performing team in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient coordination with Pricing, Booking, and overseas agents

  • Provide customers with optimal shipping solutions, including schedules, cargo details, and freight quotations

  • Manage bookings and slot reservations, ensuring smooth execution and clear communication throughout the process

  • Monitor shipment progress and carrier performance to prevent delays or cancellations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information in internal systems, ensuring seamless handover across departments

  • Communicate changes in shipment details (POs, schedules, weights, pricing, free time, GOH setup, etc.) to relevant stakeholders

  • Handle shipment issues and customer escalations promptly to maintain high service standards

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and VIP customers

  • Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team through performance reviews, feedback, and tailored training programmes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade, international economics, logistics, supply chain, maritime transport, or related fields

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics, forwarding, or import-export

  • Strong command of English; Mandarin language skills are an advantage

  • Proven people-management and supportive leadership skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability, sound judgement, and attention to detail

  • Service-minded, resilient, and able to perform well under pressure

  • Positive attitude with a collaborative and hard-working mindset
