Robert Walters Thailand Opens New Eastern Seaboard Office

On 15 August 2019, Robert Walters Thailand officially launched our new Eastern Seaboard office, with journalists from well-known Thai media, including Krungthep Thurakij, Bangkok Post, and The Nation, attending our media event.

Natiya Saul, who leads the team at the Eastern Seaboard office, talked about the hiring needs within the fast-developing economic zone, Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and why Robert Walters Thailand has set up a second office in the region.

“The Eastern Seaboard is transforming into an important hub for technological manufacturing and services within Thailand. Companies with operations in the region are all looking to hire and retain good talent to accelerate their businesses, and this has resulted in stiff competition for strong professionals,” shared Natiya. “We know that its challenging for companies to meet the growing hiring needs in the region, which is why we’ve set up our new Eastern Seaboard office to offer best-in-class, localised recruitment services to help them. Our specialist recruitment consultants are all experts within their fields and are well-positioned to help businesses in the region fulfil their specific requirements.”

Natiya also further shared that employers in the Eastern Seaboard are often seeking Thai citizens who are proficient in English, articulate, have strong leadership skills, and cross-functional working experience from multi-national companies. To attract the best talent to move to the Eastern Seaboard area, she encouraged companies to implement effective employee training programs that focus on career development as well as offer competitive compensations and benefits packages. She also strongly recommends companies to focus and build on their employer branding by having a strong company culture, maintaining good reputation of the company, focusing on achievable career progression and engaging with communities through CSR projects.
