What you'll do:
As Sales & Marketing Manager (Optic Device) based in Bangkok, you will be responsible for guiding a talented team towards achieving ambitious sales targets while championing an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual support. Your day-to-day activities will involve building lasting relationships with key medical institutions, overseeing strategic planning for product launches, managing complex tender processes, and ensuring your team receives continuous training opportunities. By working closely with regional colleagues as well as local peers in related fields, you will help shape the future of optic device solutions in Thailand’s healthcare sector. - Guide, nurture, and develop a team of six sales professionals and two application specialists to achieve collective goals while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Collaborate closely with peers in surgical ophthalmology sales and marketing to share insights, best practices, and drive communal success across product lines.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) at major medical school hospitals and specialist clinics to enhance brand trust and secure long-term partnerships.
- Strategically plan and execute sales initiatives for innovation lens and microscope products, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market needs.
- Oversee tendering processes and bidding activities by strengthening KOL relationships, locking specifications, and ensuring successful outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
- Work interdependently with regional managers to ensure consistent communication, shared targets, and mutual support across Southeast Asia.
- Monitor market trends, forecast growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights to inform business strategy while maintaining sensitivity to local market dynamics.
- Support the professional development of your team through ongoing training opportunities, mentoring sessions, and knowledge exchange forums.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies to maintain trustworthiness within the healthcare community.
What you bring:
Your background as Sales & Marketing Manager (Optic Device) will include substantial experience in leading teams within the healthcare or medical device industry.
