Head of Marketing APAC (Surface Finishing)

An exciting Head of Marketing APAC (Surface Finishing) job x 1 has just become available at one of the most respected leader chemical firms based in Bangkok. Reporting to the Commercial director, this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field.

About the Head of Marketing APAC (Surface Finishing) Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service. You will also take the lead providing direction to all marketing-related activities, including brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions.

The salary range is 200,000 - 250,000 THB + Car Allowance + Fleet card + Bonus + Provident Fund + Group Insurance

Key responsibilities:

• Direct the company’s global marketing efforts by creating and implementing marketing plans, policies and strategies.
• Define, develop and implement both short-term and long-term goals for sales, marketing and business growth.
• Develop and implement an annual marketing plan and a detailed budget to accomplish marketing objectives.
• Lead the data-driven marketing strategy, innovation and roadmap development.
• Research, identify areas of opportunity to expand and develop business through multiple channels.
• Represent the company with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and a customer service focused approach.
• Formulate marketing plans for the acquisition process of any new company sites.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or any fields related to surface-finishing.
• 10+ years of surface-finishing product specialist experience.
• Experience in identifying new markets, establishing partnerships, and expanding international business.
• Outstanding communication and management skill.
• Budgeting, cost analysis, and pricing models for plating products and services.
• Proven ability to build relationships and guide teams which include representatives from multiple functional areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Thai.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conversant in working cross-culturally.
