What you'll do:
As a Medical Sciences Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective use of new products through your scientific interactions with external stakeholders. Your ability to identify leading influential experts in various fields of medicine will be crucial in building strong peer-to-peer relationships. You will be expected to respond promptly and professionally to unsolicited requests for information, demonstrating your strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. Your role will also involve delivering Non-Promotional Scientific Discussions (NPSD) for medicines, supporting clinical development activities, and providing scientific training for sales representatives. This position requires a high level of independence and strong presentation skills.
* Identify leading influential experts in fields of medicine, medical devices or research
* Build peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
* Provide value across a continuum of internal and external stakeholders
* Respond orally or by providing appropriate written materials to unsolicited requests for on- or off-label information or safety concerns
* Deliver Non-Promotional Scientific Discussions (NPSD) for medicines which are on label or consistent with the label to inform and educate Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on the appropriate use of our medicines in patients
* Support clinical development activities and programs including Investigator sponsored studies as well as collaborating to explore new business development.
* Provide scientific training for sales representatives regarding our responsible products including diagnostic and treatment guidelines
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Medical Sciences Liaison role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in pharmaceutical science. With at least 3 years' experience in ethical channel, speciality care products or medical liaison roles, you have proven your ability to apply pharmacology knowledge in clinical discussions. Your strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy is complemented by your excellent presentation skills, both in one-on-one and group settings. Previous clinical experience where you had direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care, treatment protocol development, drug therapy guidelines development, and traditional clinical pharmacy practice settings will be highly advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree or Pharm D. Pharmaceutical Science
* At least 3 years’ experience in ethical channel, speciality care products or medical liaison experience
* Experience in applying pharmacology knowledge in clinical discussion
* Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy
* Good presentation skills, experience presenting in both one-on-one and group settings
* Previous clinical experience in situations where direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care, treatment protocol development, drug therapy guidelines development, traditional clinical pharmacy practice settings
