Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Global Marketing Innovation in the FMCG sector. This role is pivotal for the development and alignment of the 2-6 year strategic innovation pipeline for Demand Platforms. The successful candidate will lead a broad cross-functional team to ideate, develop, and launch strategic innovation projects that support business objectives. What you'll do:
As a Global Marketing Innovation professional, your primary responsibility will be developing and aligning the strategic innovation pipeline. You will lead a diverse team to ideate, develop, and launch strategic projects that support business objectives. Your keen insight into future growth programs, emerging macro trends, market and category white spaces will guide proposition development and validate innovation projects. You will embody the principles of agile methodologies, championing progress before perfection. Your role will also involve collaborating with global brand teams and key regional teams to ensure flawless execution of innovations.
- Develop and align the 2-6 year strategic innovation pipeline for Demand Platforms
- Lead a broad cross-functional team to ideate, develop, and launch strategic innovation projects
- Deliver long-term innovation sufficiency for specific innovation territories
- Collaborate with global teams to align assigned innovation pipeline

- Execute assigned innovation projects to enable delivery of plan growth objectives

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Global Marketing Innovation role brings a wealth of experience in marketing innovation management or strategic leadership roles. With a strong academic background in Business, Innovation or Marketing, you have proven your ability to successfully launch new products and drive innovation projects from concept to market. Your experience with Lean Startup and/or Agile Innovation methodologies sets you apart. You are internationally experienced with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders. Your proactive and entrepreneurial mindset enables you to take calculated risks and solve problems effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Innovation, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing innovation management, portfolio management, or strategic leadership roles.
- Experience with Lean Startup and/or Agile Innovation methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving innovation projects from concept to market.
- International experience working in teams across geographies and cross functions.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, willing to take calculated risks.
