An exciting Product Manager – Dietary Supplement (x1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the most respected local pharmaceutical company brand based in Bangkok. This is a role for a Product Manager who is a leader in their field.

About the Product Manager – Dietary Supplement:

The Product Manager – Dietary Supplement will be responsible for leading a team controlling all product development and marketing activities related to the assigned product range in dietary supplement products, including product strategy, launches for new products, developing promotional materials, educational programs, etc., to achieve the company's goal.
The salary range for this role is THB80K - 120K per month + provident fund + allowance + bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to manage all administrative support functions for the operation team, counselling with customers, learn new product and ensure that our customers understand our products clearly
  • Develop and define annual brand plan to drive brand growth objectives – defining marketing objectives, strategies, 360 degree marketing activation plans in collaboration with the cross functional teams culminating in the annualized brand charter
  • Responsible for monthly demand planning process for the brands in charge – working with sales, supply chain team, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
  • Initiating and implementing a marketing strategy and budget to increase market share and achieve profitability goals.
  • Creating promotional strategies & time plan and promotion activities, including margin control, and controlling the marketing budget aligned with the marketing plan
  • To provide guidance and consultation to sales team with training in order to develop sales force capabilities i.e., handling any objections, presenting products, and delivering key messages to healthcare professionals. Develops and maintains the contact with customers, and channels for understanding their needs. Provide direction to develop Product Specialist.
  • To achieve annual sales targets by preparing sales analysis data and collaborating with sales teams to ensure clear execution of strategy and creating an accuracy forecast compared to target, allocating and controlling the budget.
  • Develop sales force effectiveness, provide guidance, and cooperate with sales team to achieve sales target, including develop sales staff for product knowledge to deliver information to customers. Develop and implement product training and competitor intelligence to sales force on an ongoing basis
  • Carrying out analysis of sales channels, market access, pricing structure and competition analysis
  • Achieve sales, margin and market share annual goals for the assigned products
  • Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market development
  • Analyses and defines customers and market requirements and trends
  • Develop, implement, and update product training and competitor information intelligence to sales force on an ongoing basis
  • Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company
  • Analyse consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successful achieved. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organisation

To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Medical related field or appropriate tertiary qualification. MBA is a plus. At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical. At least three years of experience in supervisory level
  • Proactive, Leadership, good problem solving and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate strategic marketing and product management skills
  • Fluent Thai and English communications, presentation, and coordination with team
  • Strong product sales and marketing track record
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and commercial mindset
