An exciting Product Manager - Nutrition (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the most respected local pharmaceutical company brand based in Bangkok. This is a role for a Product Manager - Nutrition who is a leader in their field.
About the Product Manager - Nutrition Role:
The Product Manager will be responsible for leading a team controlling all product development and marketing activities related to the assigned product range in Nutrition Products, including product strategy, launches for new products, developing promotional materials, educational programs, etc., to achieve the company's goal.
The salary range for this role is THB80K - 120K per month + provident fund + allowance + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Be able to manage all administrative support functions for the operation team, counselling with customers, learn new product and ensure that our customers understand our products clearly.
- Develop and define annual brand plan to drive brand growth objectives – defining marketing objectives, strategies, 360 degree marketing activation plans in collaboration with the cross functional teams culminating in the annualized brand charter.
- Responsible for monthly demand planning process for the brands in charge – working with sales, supply chain team, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans
- Initiating and implementing a marketing strategy and budget to increase market share and achieve profitability goals. Preparing a marketing plan, implementing activities, and ensuring effective execution for the responsible products
- To provide guidance and consultation to sales team with training in order to develop sales force capabilities i.e., handling any objections, presenting products, and delivering key messages to healthcare professionals. Develops and maintains the contact with customers, and channels for understanding their needs. Provide direction to develop Product Specialist.
- To achieve annual sales targets by preparing sales analysis data and collaborating with sales teams to ensure clear execution of strategy and creating an accuracy forecast compared to target, allocating and controlling the budget.
- Develop sales force effectiveness, provide guidance, and cooperate with sales team to achieve sales target, including develop sales staff for product knowledge to deliver information to customers. D
- Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing, and expense budgets.
- Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.
- Develop methods of field-testing promotional programs to determine customer acceptance, evaluate effectiveness of promotion efforts and keep informed on needs of the sales force.
- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
- Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successful achieved.
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
- Analyse market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organisation
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates and its features across primary market segments.
To succeed in the Product Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with the senior business development and commercial teams, cross borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Medical related field or appropriate tertiary qualification. MBA is a plus. At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical. At least three years of experience in supervisory level
- Proactive, leadership, good problem solving and good interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate strategic marketing and product management skills
- Fluent Thai and English communications, presentation, and coordination with team
- Strong product sales and marketing track record
- Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- Good English communication skills
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and commercial mindset
