What you'll do:

As Regional Marketing Director – Education, you will immerse yourself in a diverse portfolio of university partners throughout the Asia Pacific region. Your day-to-day activities will involve building collaborative relationships with senior university leadership teams—presidents, provosts, chief marketing officers—and guiding them through complex strategic decisions that shape their institution’s future. You will facilitate strategic planning sessions designed to uncover new market opportunities while ensuring each institution’s unique strengths are reflected in their brand positioning. By leveraging your deep understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies—including digital campaigns, social media engagement, school partnerships, B2B initiatives—you will help universities reach new audiences locally and internationally. Your role extends beyond advisory; you will actively mentor senior marketers within partner institutions to foster talent development and ensure sustainable organisational growth. Through regular knowledge exchange forums and best practice sharing sessions across your network of partners, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.   • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to university presidents, provosts, and marketing leaders across Asia Pacific, supporting them in developing and executing comprehensive institutional marketing strategies.
  • Participate in joint planning sessions with prospective and existing partner institutions to evaluate growth opportunities and assess their readiness for enhanced marketing initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on multi-channel marketing approaches including digital platforms, social media engagement, school partnerships, B2B channels, and lead generation aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Assess current marketing capabilities within partner universities and identify actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with long-term goals.
  • Lead advisory processes for product and programme development by identifying market opportunities and supporting the creation of new academic offerings informed by student needs.
  • Advise on differentiated brand positioning strategies that resonate with both domestic and international student audiences while safeguarding brand integrity.
  • Guide universities in defining target student segments and personas for domestic recruitment, international outreach, and emerging markets.
  • Support the development of robust go-to-market strategies for academic programmes and institutional offerings that drive enrolment growth.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among partner universities by promoting best practices in campaign planning, brand management, student recruitment strategy, and adoption of marketing technology.
  • Mentor senior marketing leaders within partner institutions to enhance leadership capability while participating in key hiring decisions for future-state marketing organisations.
