- You will have the chance to work directly with senior marketing leaders, positioning yourself as a trusted partner rather than just a vendor, while shaping integrated solutions that span creative, media, KOL engagement, and shoppertainment operations.
- You will lead and mentor a dedicated business development team across commercial tracks—distribution/enabler agreements, shoppertainment sales, and integrated marketing communications—ensuring high standards in pitch quality and pipeline management.
- You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by owning pipeline metrics, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Finance and Account Management, and staying ahead of market trends to ensure long-term client success.
What you'll do:
As Group Account Director, you will be at the heart of shaping how brands connect with consumers through innovative commercial strategies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing irresistible narratives that integrate creative thinking with operational excellence. You’ll engage directly with senior marketing leaders to present holistic solutions that go beyond traditional agency offerings.
- You will own the commercial narrative by connecting services from brand strategy through to physical distribution in ways that are both compelling and valuable for clients.
- You will lead high-level pitches to Chief Marketing Officers and Marketing Directors as a peer advisor, ensuring your approach is consultative and relationship-driven.
- You will execute the winning integrated strategic pitches, expanding into shoppertainment operations like live commerce and affiliate video, and securing long-term distribution agreements.
What you bring:
To excel as Group Account Director, you should bring extensive experience from creative or integrated agency environments where you have operated at senior levels. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust quickly with both clients and colleagues alike. You are adept at guiding teams through complex sales cycles using empathy-driven coaching methods that emphasise learning by doing. Your analytical abilities allow you to navigate financial discussions confidently while your understanding of end-to-end marketing funnels ensures your recommendations are always grounded in client objectives.
- You bring over 10–15 years of experience within creative or integrated agencies at a senior level such as Group Account Director or Business Director.
- Your background includes proven expertise in consultative selling approaches that prioritise relationship-building over transactional interactions.
- You possess a full-funnel mindset that spans from awareness generation through to advocacy, enabling you to craft comprehensive client solutions.
- Your track record includes pitching successfully to CMOs at major organisations, demonstrating your credibility at the highest levels.
- You have managed teams of up to 15+ people or more, fostering professional growth through supportive leadership practices.
- It would be advantageous if you have experience with platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee or Lazada; knowledge of live commerce; exposure to distribution or FMCG sectors.
