Media Director

A rapidly expanding global media agency is looking for a Media Planning Director (x 1 vacancy) in Thailand to exclusively take care one of the leading FMCG client. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all media planning, client management and team management.

About the Media Planning Director Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside with your team. You will also take the lead providing direction to all media planning-related activities, including planning media performance campaigns across offline and online.

The salary range for this role is THB100k - 130k per month + health insurance + provident fund.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and general quality of the media plan's output
• Assist in the collecting and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media consumption data, as well as the development of communications initiatives
• Act as a comprehensive specialist in existing and emerging media opportunities (in-depth knowledge of available media and marketing services suppliers) that are relevant to your customer, ensuring that opportunities within them are effectively presented and communicated
• Ensure that competitive market/media information is consistently reported, including business insights that might inform media as well as larger marketing actions
• Lead the process of strategic media planning/execution and serve as a resource for supervisors, planners, and assistants for advice and counsel when media concerns are raised

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of hybrid media planning.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five years of communications/media planning experience
• Proven leadership ability – experience managing a team of planners & supervisors
• Exceptional knowledge of hybrid media planning
