Our client, a global leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Country Strategy & Partnerships. Responsibilities:
As Manager – Country Strategy & Partnerships, you will act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director, supporting key governance, communication, and market initiatives. Your role will require both strategic thinking and strong relationship management skills to drive business growth and strengthen local partnerships.
- Support the Managing Director in governance execution and business operations
- Drive effective internal communications across executive and functional teams
- Prepare agendas, briefings, and key presentations for high-level meetings and events
- Facilitate real-time market intelligence and connect with strategic customers and partners
- Identify and propose new growth opportunities to relevant internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with key government, industry, and business institutions
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business or technical disciplines, with experience in sales or business management and a solid understanding of the chemical industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or strategic management
- Strong network within the chemical industry and relevant trade associations
- Experience working in matrix organisations and managing cross-functional relationships
- Good understanding of the chemical value chain and key market dynamics
- Proven ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders
