Our client is seeking a Chief Marketing Manager to lead and manage the marketing function and operations of their commercial energy business. This role is not limited to setting the marketing strategy and direction, planning and positioning, managing brands and products, digitalisation, media channels, customer communications, media and campaign management, and overseeing all marketing activities. The successful candidate will ensure cross-functional alignment on marketing programmes and execution within the team and with key stakeholders. They will also manage and plan the marketing budget, making data-driven capital allocation decisions.

What you'll do:

As a Chief Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's commercial energy business. You will take charge of leading the entire marketing function, from setting the strategic direction to managing brands and products. Your role will extend to overseeing digitalisation efforts, managing various media channels, handling customer communications, orchestrating media campaigns, and supervising all other marketing activities. A significant part of your role will involve ensuring cross-functional alignment on all marketing programmes while executing them within your team and with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing the marketing budget with an emphasis on making data-driven capital allocation decisions.

With at least 10 years of experience in the field, you have demonstrated your knowledge of marketing principles and business acumen. You have a proven track record of enabling sales through effective marketing strategies and are proficient in leveraging digitalisation, various media channels, and viral marketing to deliver strong return on investment. Your ability to lead a team towards profitable outcomes is matched by your experience in creating meaningful cross-functional relationships. A growth mindset and a positive attitude towards fast-paced environments are key to success in this role.

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field
  • At least 10 years of marketing experience with proven achievement record
  • Managerial experience with team supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and business acumen
  • Ability to enable sales through effective marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in leveraging digitalisation, various media channels, and viral marketing for strong ROI
