What you'll do:

• Draft, review, and manage legal documents and contracts in English, and Thai to ensure compliance with relevant laws and mitigate organisational risks.
• Provide professional legal opinions and practical advice on various corporate matters and business operations, supporting decision-making processes across departments.
• Collect and analyse evidence related to contractual or commercial disputes, develop effective legal strategies, and assist in negotiations to resolve issues amicably.
• Draft and review legal pleadings and court documents while acting as the primary liaison with external counsel for litigation cases, ensuring accurate representation of the organisation’s interests.
• Manage and optimise internal legal request workflows through dedicated systems to enhance efficiency and maintain precise records of all legal activities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate clear communication regarding legal requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations affecting the company’s operations, providing timely updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support compliance initiatives by identifying potential risks within contracts or business practices and proposing solutions that protect the organisation.
• Participate in training sessions or workshops aimed at enhancing legal awareness among employees, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the company.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to legal processes or documentation standards based on industry best practices.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from an accredited institution is required for this position.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience working as a Legal Officer or Supervisor within organisations employing over 10,000 people.
• Native Thai speaker with professional fluency in English or Chinese (Mandarin) to facilitate effective multilingual communication across teams.
• Valid Lawyer’s License (Thailand) is mandatory for practising law within the jurisdiction.
• Experience or additional knowledge in engineering sectors is considered a significant advantage when handling specialised contracts or disputes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build collaborative relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong analytical abilities allowing you to assess complex legal issues quickly and provide practical solutions tailored to business needs.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy when drafting documents or reviewing contracts for compliance purposes.
