An excellent opportunity has emerged, a leading Japanese Pharmaceutical company is seeking an Compliance Specialist (x1 vacancy) to join their office in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, this role provides for a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company.
As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the compliance department of one of the leading Japanese Pharmaceutical Companies in Bangkok. You will work closely with the Compliance Manager to manage compliance affairs, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Plan and execute compliance promotion activities in the company by supporting the Senior Compliance Manager
- Be a contact person from employees about compliance matters
- Conduct compliance check for the Company’s operating activities such as procurement, donations, and promotional activities
- Work with the Compliance Manager for content development about compliance trainings for employees. Required to train/speak at these training sessions
- Support Company codes, SOPs, Policies development/revision relevant to compliance
- Facilitate discussion of Compliance Committee as the member
- Set up the Company’s annual compliance objective, taking necessary actions to prevent compliance violation, planning the compliance training for employees, taking counter-measures against the actual violation cases and development of the Company’s compliance system
- Conduct investigation for the compliance violation cases when doubtful cases are found
- Consult with legal expert/external law firm with regard to various compliance matters if it is necessary
- Support any other matters about requests from the Legal Department of the Headquarters.
What you bring:
To be success in the Senior Compliance Specialist role, the ability to advise and guide internal business partners and collaborating personnel as well as work effectively with the business units, is of utmost necessity.
- 3-4 years working experience in compliance and/or audit section
- Having knowledge with laws which is related to compliance such as bribery and/or ABAC in Thailand
- Dare to speak up when see non compliance issues
- Good command of English (eg. TOEIC score 700 up)
- Computer literate for monitoring of promotional expenses and making compliance training slide decks/materials
- Good interpersonal skills and service-mind
- Bachelor’s Degree of any field
- Be able, be creative to propose solutions for business to do activities in a compliance way
- Pharmaceutical experience is beneficial but not a requirement.
