Legal and Compliance Manager

An exciting Legal and Compliance Manager (x1 vacancy) has arisen in a leading FMCG in Bangkok.

About the Legal and Compliance Manager Role:

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will draft, review and execute legal documents including but not limited to contracts, agreements, letters, memorandum of understand, letter offer, NDA and notices. The role offers competitive base salary with allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all permits and licenses of the company comply with laws and regulations
• Provide advice on legal and regulatory matters including internal compliance with recommended guidance to business units
• Serve as first point of food import, food production, FDA, and relevant business licenses
• Provide legal advice with regards to IP rights, protection, and enforcement
• Review, comment and draft of Memorandum of Understandings (MOU), Mergers and Acquisitions Agreement (M&A), Joint Venture Agreement, Shareholder Agreement, Loan Agreement etc.
• Comment and all necessary agreement e.g. Sales and purchase agreement, service agreement, general agreement, assignment of project documents
• Preparation of all applications concerning corporate matters such as set up new company, change directors and shareholders companies etc.
• Composing letters and memorandum in response to inquiry

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from Law
• Attorney license is advantage
• At least five years of experiences in drafting legal agreement and contracts both in Thai and English form, specifically in commercial law
• Experienced working in a law firm is preferable
• Be able to work under pressure
• Own growth mindset with problem solving skill
