Senior Legal Counsel

Our client is on the hunt for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in foreign direct investment (FBL and BOI), business registration with the DBD, and be capable of leading clients with a strong business mindset. What you'll do:

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in managing all legal work related to Foreign Direct Investment (FBL and BOI). You will be responsible for preparing applications and submitting them to the relevant authorities. Your expertise will also be crucial in managing business registration processes with the DBD. You will lead clients through the legal process, providing comprehensive legal advice to support their business strategies in Thailand. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure the successful and timely execution of client projects. Furthermore, your role will involve providing legal guidance on business expansion, compliance, and regulatory matters.

• Handle all legal work related to Foreign Direct Investment (FBL and BOI), including preparing applications and submitting them to the relevant authorities.
• Manage business registration processes with the DBD.
• Lead clients through the legal process and provide comprehensive legal advice to support their business strategies in Thailand.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Legal Counsel position brings a minimum of 6 years of experience working in a law firm, with a strong background in corporate law, foreign business investment, and company registration. You possess a strong understanding of BOI and FBL processes, along with experience preparing and submitting related applications. Your excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken) will be crucial in this role. You have a strong business mindset and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Your can-do attitude, proactive nature, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment will set you apart. Litigation skills are a plus, especially in relation to corporate disputes and regulatory matters.
