REGIONAL, IN-HOUSE M&A LAWYER

Our client is a global leader in insurance and risk advisory services, operating in over 100 countries. They are seeking a Regional, In-house M&A Lawyer to join their team based in Bangkok, Thailand. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team focusing on private equity and other M&A-related insurance products.

What you'll do:

As a Regional, In-house Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer, your role will be multifaceted. You will become an expert on various transactional risk insurance solutions, providing invaluable advice to clients on their availability and appropriateness.

* Become an expert on various transactional risk insurance solutions

* Provide advice on the availability and appropriateness of such solutions

* Execute the insurance marketing and placement for our clients

* Support local and regional teams in building strong relationships with private equity and corporate clients

* Develop and maintain good personal relationships with insurers’ underwriters

* Participate in relevant business development initiatives

What you bring:

As a Regional, In-house M&A Lawyer, you bring substantial experience from your time practicing in a reputable law firm. Your expertise in corporate and M&A work will be invaluable in this role.

* Tertiary qualifications and minimum 4-5 years’ PQE practicing in a reputable local law firm

* Substantial prior experience in corporate and M&A work

* Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
