Legal Counsel - Financial regulatory

About the Legal Counsel - Financial Regulatory Role:

Due to unparalleled results and future expansion plans, you will assist the legal team continuing success and development the company fintech businesses to be align and comply with the stipulated laws and regulations. You will enjoy attractive bonus and provident fund for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on vast types of financial regulatory compliance, in relation but not limited to e-wallet, instalment loan, peer-to-peer lending
• Address potential risk issues related to the company’s business activities
• Support relevant stakeholders to comply with financial regulatory compliance, considering the appropriate balance between compliance and business needs
• Support and liaise with external parties; including external counsel, government bodies and other relevant organisations
• Perform legal research as needed pertinent the company’s commercial activities and work with external counsel from time to time
• Undertake any other duties that may be assigned occasionally by the legal department

To accomplish in this job, you must possess ability to research and interpret new regulations as well as ability to collaborate with government department officers

Key Requirements:

• Possess five-10 years of post-qualification experience at top law firms or major multinational corporations with a focus on financial regulatory; preference will be given to those with experience in fintech or e-payments/digital finance industries
• Fluency in Thai and English, written and oral
• Highly ethical, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
• Highly efficient and driven with a steep learning curve
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Proactive team player with effective interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
