Our client is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to lead their Training and Coaching programmes. This role is pivotal in enhancing the knowledge, behaviours, skillsets, and capabilities of both office and boutique team members. The ultimate goal is to elevate the overall client experience. Based in the vibrant city of Bangkok, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement learning strategies that align with local business objectives.

What you'll do:

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing strategies that enhance the capabilities of our team members. Your role will involve creating annual learning plans, designing local learning solutions, monitoring effectiveness of learning transfer, discovering innovative training tools, collaborating with key stakeholders, creating personalised career development plans, coaching team members, overseeing budgets, negotiating contracts, building relationships with third-party providers, and supervising day-to-day operations.

  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies by carrying out capability and learning needs assessments in line with the local business strategy
  • Build annual learning plans that answer the local market’s annual objectives and vision for both office and retail population
  • Design, develop, and deliver local learning solutions and experiential workshops to improve the overall client experience
  • Monitor and measure how effective learning has been transferred to employees
  • Discover new training tools and methodologies that will create an impact on people to support their development
  • Collaborate with diverse key stakeholders to advise and support their training activations
  • Create individual personalised career development plans based on assigned annual objectives
  • Coach team members to enhance their skillset and ultimately achieve their priorities
  • Oversee budgets to ensure actual spending is aligned with L&D year plan, negotiate contracts, build relationships with third-party training providers
  • Supervise Assistant L&D Manager for day-to-day operations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Learning & Development Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the retail or service industry. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Psychology, Business Administration or Human Resources Management. Proficiency in MS Office is essential along with excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin language skills would be advantageous. Your strong people skills will shine through your coaching and facilitation techniques. Additionally, your strategic project thinking and project management skills will be crucial for success in this role.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experiences as L&D with a focus in the retail or service industry
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experiences of designing career path, talent management and L&D strategy
  • Strong people skills – coaching and facilitation techniques and strategic project thinking and project management skills
  • Thai Nationality
