Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for Retail Training, dedicated to nurturing the best talents for their high-end retail stores. This role is pivotal in enabling their team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will assess retail store staff skills and capabilities, align with Retail Directors and Group L&D Manager on training objectives, and create and facilitate trainings to all retail store staff.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager for Retail Training, you will play a crucial role in developing the best talents for our client's high-end retail stores. You will be responsible for assessing the skills and capabilities of retail store staff, creating effective in-house training modules, facilitating trainings, conducting new hire orientations, ensuring compliance with statutory trainings, and administering the Learning Management System. Your work will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Conduct regular store visits and consultation with store managers to understand staff training needs
  • Create effective in-house training modules for retail store staff such as customer service training and product training
  • Facilitate trainings to all retail store staff
  • Assess and revise training modules together with Group L&D Manager to ensure effectiveness and achieve business goals
  • Conduct regular new hire orientation
  • Ensure statutory trainings and administration requirements are met by all applicable retail store staff
  • Align with Retail Directors and Group L&D Manager on training objectives
  • Administer the Learning Management System

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Manager, Retail Training position will bring at least three years of experience in training content creation and facilitation, preferably within the fashion retail or service industry. You will have strong planning and execution skills, an approachable manner, and agility in your facilitation style. Your ability to determine what training content achieves the desired learning experience will be key to your success. Experience with Learning Management Systems would be advantageous.
