This role is based in vibrant Bangkok and offers you the unique chance to collaborate with senior stakeholders, influence people strategies, and shape the future management team across multiple countries. As a key partner in aligning HR processes, systems, and practices throughout the region, you will play a pivotal part in driving organisational effectiveness and supporting business growth. The position promises not only regional exposure but also the role to lead and run talent management, performance management and succession planning. With a supportive leadership team and a culture that values knowledge sharing, this is your moment to contribute to a stable yet expanding business that champions flexibility, inclusivity, and professional growth.

  • Work across several countries in Asia Pacific, gaining invaluable multinational experience while collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
  • Play a strategic role in preparing the talent pipeline and building future management teams by partnering closely with senior stakeholders on people development initiatives.
  • Be the key person responsible for aligning HR processes, systems, and best practices within your region, ensuring consistency and excellence in all aspects of human resources.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Business Partner Asia Pacific, you will immerse yourself in a truly international environment where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping both immediate outcomes and long-term success. Your day-to-day activities will involve working hand-in-hand with business leaders across various countries to develop people strategies that support both local needs and regional ambitions. You will be entrusted with harmonising HR processes—ranging from recruitment through to succession planning—ensuring they are robust yet adaptable enough for diverse markets. By fostering strong relationships with regional colleagues, you will help create cohesive programmes that nurture talent at every level. Your ability to navigate cultural differences with empathy will be crucial as you champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational cohesion. Ultimately, your efforts will underpin the company’s commitment to developing future leaders while maintaining operational excellence throughout Asia Pacific.

  • Serve as the dedicated Human Resources Business Partner for one of the organisation’s core business units operating across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Champion talent management, performance management and people development for the group by identifying high-potential employees and facilitating opportunities for growth within the organisation’s management pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders in each country to understand their unique strategies and challenges, enabling you to propose tailored people initiatives and solutions that drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Partner with regional colleagues from different countries to design HR programmes that are both locally relevant and aligned with overarching business objectives.
  • Support the implementation of consistent HR frameworks that foster a collaborative culture while respecting local nuances and requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all matters related to people strategy, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Monitor emerging trends in HR within the APAC region to ensure continuous improvement of processes and policies.
  • Facilitate cross-country communication to share best practices and promote an inclusive environment where every voice is valued.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws while upholding global standards of fairness, respect, and integrity.

What you bring:

To excel as a Human Resources Business Partner Asia Pacific, your background should reflect significant hands-on experience managing talent pipelines within large-scale organisations. You will bring deep familiarity with designing and rolling out comprehensive HR frameworks that can be adapted for use in multiple countries. Your previous roles should demonstrate your capacity for working effectively within multicultural environments—ideally having supported more than one country simultaneously—and your readiness to travel as needed. Success in this position requires not only technical proficiency but also outstanding interpersonal skills; your ability to connect with others empathetically will set you apart. You should be comfortable advising senior stakeholders on sensitive issues while always acting as an advocate for both employees’ well-being and organisational goals. A passion for nurturing potential in others combined with meticulous attention to detail will ensure you thrive in this influential role.

  • Demonstrated extensive experience as a Human Resources Business Partner with a particular focus on talent management within complex organisations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR processes and frameworks, enabling you to provide expert advice to business leaders and implement effective solutions across multiple countries.
  • Previous exposure to regional responsibilities or experience covering more than one country within a multinational corporation is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while demonstrating sensitivity towards local customs and practices.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to support business needs throughout the Asia Pacific region.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • A track record of successfully implementing standardised HR systems such as talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, or similar programmes across different geographies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities combined with an empathetic approach when addressing employee concerns or organisational challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—that enable you to convey complex ideas clearly across languages and cultures.
