What you'll do:
As Human Resources Manager, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the organisation’s people strategy. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance HR systems while ensuring smooth operational delivery.
- Oversee all aspects of human resources operations including recruitment, on boarding, off boarding, payroll, compensation, and benefits to ensure seamless processes throughout the employee life cycle.
- Lead, mentor, and support a small HR team to deliver consistent and high-quality HR services across the organisation.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing retention and nurturing a supportive workplace environment.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing talent through to successful on boarding, ensuring the attraction of top candidates who align with company values.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and comprehensive compensation and benefits administration in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Partner closely with management teams to review, improve, and implement HR processes, policies, and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Support organisational transformation projects or HR improvement initiatives as required by business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both management and employees by providing guidance on HR matters, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on workforce trends, engagement levels, and process effectiveness.
- Stay updated on employment legislation changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice implementation.
What you bring:
- Minimum 10 year's proven experience as an HR Generalist within medium or large organisations, ideally in construction or related industries.
- At least 3 year's experience managing an HR team with demonstrated ability to nurture talent and foster collaboration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll administration, compensation & benefits frameworks, recruitment best practices, on boarding/off boarding procedures, and employee engagement strategies.
- Proactive approach with hands-on involvement in daily operations while also contributing strategically to broader organisational goals.
- Comfortable adapting to evolving business environments where flexibility and responsiveness are valued.
- Experience supporting organisational transformation or leading HR improvement projects is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Outstanding communication abilities—both written and verbal—with sensitivity towards diverse perspectives.
- High level of integrity when handling confidential information coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
