HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES (INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL) Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Rayong Rayong This role offers you the chance to shape the HR function from the ground up, drawing upon a rich academic heritage and working within a vibrant, multicultural environment. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that foster a positive workplace culture, support employee growth, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

What you'll do:


As Head of Human Resources (International School), you will play a pivotal role in establishing the HR function for a newly opened institution. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with senior leaders to identify staffing needs, develop workforce plans, and implement strategies that drive employee engagement. You will oversee recruitment processes for both expatriate and local staff, ensuring compliance with relevant laws while administering visa requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive HR strategies and policies that align with the school’s mission and vision while supporting organisational growth.
  • Analyse HR metrics to advise senior management on best practices for workforce planning and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives that promote business growth through collaborative employee engagement programmes.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboardingonboarding processes for both expatriate and local employees to attract top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while administering visa and work permit processes for all staff members.
  • Design effective talent retention strategies and succession plans in partnership with senior leadership teams.
  • Foster a positive work environment by managing employee relations issues professionally and implementing conflict resolution measures.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems that encourage continuous feedback and support leadership development initiatives.
  • Develop training programmes aimed at enhancing employee skills, career growth, and overall workforce development.
  • Manage competitive compensation packages using industry benchmarkingbenchmarking research while overseeing benefits programmes such as health insurance and retirement plans.


What you bring:


Your proven experience as Head of Human Resources (International School) will include extensive background in developing HR strategies tailored to educational settings.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in human resources with at least three years spent in a leadership capacity is essential.
  • Experience working within an international school environment in Thailand is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, local labour regulations, industry trends and best practices is crucial for success.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with outstanding interpersonal abilities are needed to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to analyse data effectively in order to develop HR strategies aligned with organisational goals is expected.
  • Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution ensures harmonious relationships among staff members.
  • Experience designing competitive salary structures using bench-marking research is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage complex benefits programmes including health insurance and retirement plans is important.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children as well as promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and belonging is vital.
