HR Manager (Start up/ Retails)

Our client is seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to build and lead the Human Resources function in a fast-paced start-up environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational tasks, establish HR foundations, and drive initiatives that support rapid growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to C-Level executives and senior leadership, providing guidance on people strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • HR Infrastructure: Design, revamp, and implement core HR policies, processes, and systems, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and compliance.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Develop strategies to attract top talent through strong employer branding and innovative sourcing methods tailored for start-up needs.
  • Culture Building: Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture aligned with company values and mission. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • HR Strategy: Formulate and execute short-term and long-term HR strategies that align with business objectives and support scalability.
  • Learning & Development: Introduce training programs and career development frameworks to upskill employees and prepare future leaders.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations while mitigating HR-related risks.
  • Data-Driven HR: Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.

Key Requirements:

  • Thai nationality (due to local labor law and compliance requirements).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; start-up or fast-growth environment experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of people cost management, budgeting, and P&L impact.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a lean organization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and data analytics tools is a plus.
  • High adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
