The HRBP Manager – Retail Operations acts as a strategic partner to Retail Operations leaders, ensuring that people strategies directly support store performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as the primary HR partner for Retail Directors and Operations leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities like service excellence, productivity, and sales growth.
  • Workforce Planning & Analytics: Lead national/cluster-level workforce planning, succession pipeline development, and provide data-driven insights (turnover, productivity, engagement) to guide leadership decisions.
  • Culture & Employee Experience: Champion retail culture and drive nationwide engagement programs to enhance morale, wellbeing, and customer-centric behaviors.
  • Leadership Development: Build leadership capability for Store Managers and Area Managers through coaching, performance dialogues, and structured development journeys.
  • Talent Acquisition & Pipeline: Define recruitment strategies for frontline and technical roles, strengthen talent pipelines, and oversee employer branding and onboarding consistency.
  • Capability Development & Performance Management: Establish role-based capability standards, implement training programs, and ensure fair and calibrated performance management across clusters.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage escalated ER cases, enforce compliance with Thai labor law, and implement risk-mitigation protocols for store environments.
  • Rewards & Cost Optimization: Analyze compensation competitiveness, recommend incentive frameworks, and monitor labor cost ratios to support operational cost efficiency.
  • Safety & Risk Management: Collaborate with Operations on proactive safety measures and misconduct prevention to minimize people-related risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance sales competencies, technical skills, and customer interaction behaviors across the retail network.

Key Requirement :

    • Thai Nationality
    • Strong HR Business Partner background with extensive experience in field and retail operations.
    • Skilled in conducting store visits, resolving urgent manpower challenges, managing frontline employee relations cases, and ensuring service-level agreements are met.
    • Proven ability to manage a workforce of 700+ employees across multiple retail locations.
    • Adept at collaborating with Area Managers, Store Managers, and remote teams while supporting high-volume recruitment needs.
    • Balanced approach combining strategic planning and hands-on execution—capable of designing workforce plans while addressing on-ground operational issues.
    • Expertise in workforce planning and manpower cost optimization.
    • Data-driven mindset, leveraging HR analytics (turnover, productivity, readiness) to influence leadership decisions.
