What you'll do:
As Plant Human Resources Manager and Business Partner based on the Eastern Seaboard, you will immerse yourself in both strategic planning and day-to-day HR activities within a busy manufacturing environment. Your role will see you engaging directly with employees on the shop floor while also collaborating with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives. You will take ownership of talent acquisition efforts—ensuring the right people are hired efficiently—and play an integral part in managing employee relations issues sensitively. By supporting headcount planning and cost-saving measures, you will help ensure the plant operates smoothly while maintaining high morale among staff. - Oversee all aspects of plant-level human resources management, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with local regulations.
- Act as a trusted HR business partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, headcount reporting, and effective people management strategies.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes for shop floor and operational roles, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
- Champion employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, facilitating open communication between staff and management, and promoting a harmonious work environment.
- Collaborate closely with line managers on performance management processes, coaching them on best practices for feedback, development plans, and conflict resolution.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives related to workforce optimisation by analysing staffing needs, supporting decisions around increasing or reducing headcount as required by business demands.
- Support P&L responsibilities by contributing HR insights that help manage labour costs while maintaining high standards of employee engagement.
- Ensure accurate HR data management through regular headcount reporting and analysis of workforce trends within the plant.
- Promote health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives on the shop floor in partnership with relevant teams to foster a safe and supportive environment for all employees.

- Solid understanding of Thai labour laws and employment regulations relevant to manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting headcount planning activities such as reporting on workforce numbers or advising on increases/reductions based on business needs.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to cost-saving initiatives through workforce optimisation without compromising employee engagement or productivity.
- Familiarity with P&L concepts as they relate to HR functions within a plant context would be advantageous but not mandatory.
