Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources & Administration General Manager to lead and oversee all HR and administrative functions for their large-scale manufacturing operations. This role is based in the vibrant city of Bangkok and need to visit plant twice a month.

What you'll do:

As a General Manager (Human Resources & Administration), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's large-scale manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. Your role will also involve managing all aspects of administrative functions to ensure smooth operations. From overseeing the HR lifecycle to ensuring compliance with Thai labor laws, your work will have a direct impact on the success of the organization.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive organizational growth, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Oversee the HR lifecycle for a large manufacturing workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
  • Implement performance management systems and employee development programs tailored to operational requirements.
  • Manage overall administrative functions, including office management, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Promote employee engagement through programs that foster collaboration, inclusivity, and high morale.
  • Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws and company policies, including workforce-related regulations.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, employee data, and HR systems.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this General Manager (Human Resources & Administration) position brings at least 10 years of progressive HR experience along with strong knowledge of Thai labour laws. With at least 5 years spent in a leadership role managing large-scale workforces and administrative operations, you are well-versed in HR best practices. Your ability to lead and inspire large teams in a dynamic environment will be key to your success in this role. Thai Nationality is required due to the base location in Thailand.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale workforces and administrative operations
  • Strong understanding of Thai labour laws
