Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the company's global workforce, excluding India. The successful candidate will manage a team of HR professionals spread across multiple jurisdictions, developing and delivering people plans and solutions in line with business and departmental strategy. This role also involves supporting the business as it seeks to increase its geographic footprint with the opening of direct offices in new countries, particularly in SE Asia.

What you'll do:


As the Head of People, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future direction of our client's global workforce. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team of HR professionals, ensuring that they are equipped to provide a full range of HR services across various regions. Your expertise will be crucial in providing a global perspective on company-wide People initiatives, localising these as necessary to ensure compliance with local customs and alignment with company ethos. You will also play a key role in establishing new direct offices, creating competitive employment structures and compelling employee value propositions. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you lead change management processes, particularly following M&A activities.


* Manage a team of HR professionals for the development and delivery of a full range of HR services across multiple geographies.
* Ensure that a global focus and perspective is provided on Company-wide People initiatives.
* Act as the People team primary point of contact in the establishment of new direct offices.
* Create and maintain a ‘play-book’ outlining best practices for setting up offices and inducting team members in new geographies.
* Lead on change management processes, establishing best practices for the integration of team members following M&A globally.
* Use technology to track employee net promotor score and proactively seek feedback from team members at all stages of the employee life cycle.


What you bring:


As the ideal candidate for the Head of People position, you bring a wealth of experience in leading HR teams within multinational organisations. Your ability to develop and execute strategic People programmes is second to none, backed by your extensive knowledge across various HR domains. You are adept at using HR technology to create data-driven insights, helping you identify trends and make informed decisions. Your excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively across complex geographic differences and organisational structures. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills equip you to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.


* Demonstrable ability to develop and execute strategic and operational People programmes and initiatives.
* Experience of using HR technology to create data driven insights.
* Broad theoretical and operational knowledge across various HR domains.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
