Our client, a company with a long history in the engineering service sector, is looking to transform and grow. They are seeking an experienced HR Assistant Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with supervisors to develop HR plans that align with the company's overall policies and strategies.

What you'll do:

As an HR Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the human resources landscape of our client's organisation. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you collaborate with supervisors to develop HR plans that align with the company's overall policies. You will also be responsible for establishing methods and procedures for the HR department’s operations. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you review manpower requests, coordinate recruitment channels, prepare employment contracts, conduct salary surveys, verify payroll calculations, ensure timely submission of payroll information, and review work regulations to ensure compliance with labor laws.

  • Collaborate with supervisors to develop the department’s HR plans in alignment with the company’s overall policies and plans.
  • Establish methods and procedures for the HR department’s operations.
  • Review manpower requests and various recruitment-related documents.
  • Monitor and coordinate with recruitment sources and channels, arrange interview appointments, and schedule candidates for interviews.
  • Review interview results and personnel selection processes, verify reports related to personnel information.
  • Prepare employment contracts and related documents for positions from department head level downwards.
  • Conduct salary surveys, develop salary structures, adjust annual salary rates and bonuses.
  • Verify payroll calculations, overtime payments, employee benefits including social security reports, employee income tax reports, summary reports of benefit disbursements.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll information to banks and employee income tax submissions.
  • Review and update work regulations and rules to ensure compliance with the Labor Protection Act and related labor laws.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Assistant Manager role brings a wealth of experience in Human Resource Management (HRM), preferably within the Construction or Engineering Service industry. Your hands-on approach towards tasks combined with your logical thinking ability will be key assets in this role. Experience handling payroll and HRIS is essential. As this role is based in Bangkok, Thai Nationality is required.

  • At least 8 years of experience in Human Resource Management (HRM)
  • Experience in Construction or Engineering Service industry is preferred
  • Thai Nationality
  • Hands-on approach towards tasks
  • Logical thinking ability
  • Experience handling payroll and HRIS
