Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Manager to join their team in Chonburi, Thailand. This role is integral to the implementation of the company's People & Organisation Strategy at the Chonburi site, ensuring that the organisation attracts, manages, develops, and retains the associates it needs to achieve its short and long-term business strategy and objectives.

What you'll do:

As a Plant HRBP Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the nature of People Operation programs, processes, policies, and service delivery based on the business environment/strategy and talent implications. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of associate advocacy within the organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in providing advice and consultation to both Line Managers and associates when questions of work morale or relationship issues arise. You will also have an active role in recruitment activities, ensuring that we attract top talent to our organisation.

  • Support Line Managers on the implementation of strategic plan for new site
  • Propose relevant and imperatively people operation solutions to the business
  • Support and foster associate advocacy as well as establish & manage ‘Welfare Committee’
  • Actively consult and provide solutions to Line Managers on workforce, talent and organisational matter
  • Participate in recruitment panels, conduct interviews, complete evaluation forms, and support other key recruiting activities as needed
  • Collaborate with Line Managers on the implementation of organisation design changes
  • Implement regional and local initiatives that aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Counsel Line Managers and business leadership on a broad range of P&O matter
  • Advise Line Managers to ensure that all Mars – associate relationships in the organisation are conducted in compliance with employment contracts, regulations, laws and the organisation's employment policies and standards

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Plant HRBP Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in HRD/HRM, ideally within the FMCG sector. You will have a strong understanding of people processes such as recruitment, associate development, and performance management. Your coaching and counselling skills will be exceptional, and you will demonstrate high ethical standards and a passion for people. Your ability to motivate and influence others will be key to your success in this role. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any fields with at least 10 years’ experience in HRD/HRM
  • Background in FMCG is preferred
  • Good understanding of people processes such as recruitment, associate development, performance management
  • Strong coaching and counselling skills
  • High ethical standards, passion in people, good motivating and influencing skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
