Plant HR Manager (Electronic)

The Plant HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of HR operations within a manufacturing plant of approximately 1,000 employees. This role provides strategic and hands‑on HR leadership across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and HR operations to support business goals. The role also leads and develops a team of 10 HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR function for the plant, ensuring all HR initiatives align with corporate strategy and plant business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to plant leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 HR professionals, ensuring strong performance and capability growth.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment for all plant roles, ensuring timely hiring to support production needs.
  • Build and maintain effective recruitment pipelines for critical and high‑volume positions.
  • Coordinate manpower planning, succession planning, and resource optimization with line managers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters within the plant.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution in full compliance with labor laws.
  • Drive and maintain strong employee engagement initiatives across all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage interactions with local regulatory authorities when necessary.
  • Oversee all learning & development programs, including compliance training, onboarding, leadership development, and technical training.
  • Assess training needs and implement programs that support capability building across functions.
  • Promote and sustain a culture of continuous learning throughout the plant.
  • Lead performance management cycles and support managers in goal setting, evaluation, and performance improvement planning.
  • Coach leaders and employees to support high performance, talent development, and career growth.
  • Oversee HR operations, including attendance management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
  • Lead HR policy implementation and ensure alignment with corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS data and all HR documentation.
  • Partner closely with the HSE team to support safety culture and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with Thai labor laws and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading and developing an HR team.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and training management.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands‑on operational levels.
  • Proficiency in English or Chinese.
  • Ablet to work Mon-Sat if requested
  • Thai nationality is required due to the need for in‑depth understanding of Thai labor law.
