Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and administering compensation and benefits policies that align with business requirements and market conditions. The successful candidate will provide internal stakeholders with the methods and tools for policy implementation, ensuring correct application.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's employee reward strategy. You will be responsible for leading the annual personnel cost budgeting process for the region, ensuring careful scrutiny of all entities' personnel costs. Your role will also involve managing the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organisation’s compensation programs. You will lead the development of universal benefits across the region while ensuring competitive offerings that support the company’s vision. Your ability to improve employees' understanding of Compensation & Benefits through effective communication strategies will be key to your success in this role.

  • Lead the Annual Personnel Cost Budgeting process for the region
  • Conduct periodic remuneration data reconciliation with prior commitments submitted to regional Finance
  • Manage the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organisation’s compensation programs, policies, and procedures
  • Lead the development of universal benefits such as guaranteeing the Living Wage and deployment of key programs across the region
  • Implement and localise Rewards and Recognition (R&R) pillar which is part of key programs
  • Improve Compensation & Benefits understandings of employees through effective communication strategies
  • Ensure timely reporting of monthly average costs, various budgets such as performance award, tracking of sales force bonus
  • Engage with acquired companies to check on progress of integration and track roadmap of integration

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager role will bring a wealth of knowledge about Compensation & Benefits topics. You will have experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels, from Executive Directors to HR Business Partners, and possess strong influencing and convincing skills. Your ability to effectively manage complex projects and stakeholders independently will be crucial in this role. A strong analytical mindset and capabilities are essential, as is experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and advanced Excel. Experience with Workday HRIS system would be an advantage. Above all, you will have a high learning agility with a continuous improvement mindset, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and a proactive & self-motivated approach.

  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders such as Executive Directors, Country Managers, HR Business Partners
  • Strong influencing and convincing skills with a passion for working with people
  • Ability to effectively manage complex projects & stakeholders independently

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and advanced level in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, macros)
  • Experience with Workday HRIS system is an advantage
