About the AVP of Compensation and Benefits Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing both strategic and operational initiatives related to compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles, combined with the ability to align these practices with the organisation's overall strategic objectives. Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy aligned with the organisation's business goals
Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the competitiveness of our compensation and benefits programs
Collaborate with senior leadership to align compensation and benefits strategies with the overall organisational objectives
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the compensation and benefits function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
Manage the design and administration of various compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and recognition
Lead the development and execution of employee benefits programs, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse and dynamic workforce
Establish and maintain policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in legislation affecting compensation and benefits; recommend adjustments to programs as necessary
Utilise data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and provide insights for continuous improvement
Generate regular reports for senior management on key compensation and benefits metrics and trends
Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees
Provide education and support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits, fostering a culture of understanding and appreciation
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
Proven experience in compensation and benefits roles with a minimum of five years in a leadership position
Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic compensation and benefits initiatives
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of the organisation
Proven experience in leading compensation and benefits operations with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
