What you'll do:


As Human Resources Department Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this organisation by developing strategic HR initiatives that foster a supportive workplace culture. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding your team through complex challenges while ensuring every aspect of HR—from recruitment to payroll—is handled with care and precision.

  • Develop comprehensive human resources strategies that align closely with the organisation’s vision and long-term goals, ensuring all HR initiatives support overall business objectives.
  • Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the HR team, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where every member feels valued and empowered to contribute.
  • Plan workforce needs meticulously and manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure each department is equipped with talented individuals who share the company’s values.
  • Design, implement, and manage competitive compensation and benefits systems that are both attractive to employees and consistent with company policy.
  • Oversee payroll processing with careful attention to accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant labour laws, supporting financial wellbeing for all staff.
  • Cultivate and promote a corporate culture that encourages collaboration, employee engagement, and open communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Plan, support, and oversee training programmes as well as performance evaluations for employees at every stage of their career journey within the company.
  • Ensure full compliance with labour laws by coordinating effectively with government agencies such as the Social Security Office and Department of Labour.
  • Prepare detailed HR reports for management including manpower statistics, turnover rates, employee satisfaction metrics, and other key indicators.


What you bring:

  • At least 7 years of experience working in human resources roles within reputable organisations is essential for success.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on HR experience including at least 2 years spent managing teams or departments is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws as well as compensation systems, benefits administration practices, and HR development processes is expected.
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership roles with excellent communication skills that foster trust among colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems (HRIS) or payroll software is important for efficient workflow management.
  • Systematic thinking combined with proactive problem-solving abilities enables you to address challenges thoughtfully while maintaining harmony within teams.
