Operations Manager - Wellness Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Bangkok

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the operational delivery of all wellness and spa properties, ensuring sales targets, profitability goals, guest satisfaction scores, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved across all locations.
  • Continuously monitor property performance by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimisation, and service enhancement while implementing best practices throughout.
  • Adapt operational strategies for international spa management to align with local cultural nuances while maintaining global brand standards.
  • Lead seamless pre-opening activities for new spa properties worldwide, including feasibility studies, concept development, procurement processes, team recruitment, and training initiatives.
  • Mentor spa managers and their teams by fostering a culture of accountability, emotional intelligence, continuous improvement, and exceptional guest service.
  • Drive talent development plans through coaching programmes and succession planning for key positions within the organisation.
  • Analyse financial performance at each property by supporting pricing strategies, promotions, revenue management initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing actionable reports for senior leadership.
  • Champion innovative guest experiences that blend Eastern wellness philosophies with contemporary sensorial rituals while overseeing feedback systems for ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training & Development, and other departments to support operational goals and enhance guest engagement strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on global operational success.

What you bring:

  • More than ten years’ experience managing multi-unit spa or luxury hospitality operations with proven oversight of international properties.
  • Demonstrated history of driving sales growth, profitability improvements, and high levels of guest satisfaction across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional financial acumen encompassing budgeting processes, forecasting accuracy, cost management techniques, and performance analysis capabilities.
  • Inspiring people leader who excels at developing talent through coaching programmes and effective performance management systems.
  • Deep cultural awareness enabling you to adapt your approach when working with diverse teams in various markets around the world.
  • Outstanding project management abilities allowing you to coordinate complex initiatives simultaneously without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Fluency in both Thai and English is essential; proficiency in additional languages would be considered an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications as well as reporting tools; confident communicator able to deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness—and ability—to travel frequently in order to oversee international operations and support new projects as required.
  • Certification in spa management, wellness disciplines or hospitality-related fields is highly desirable.
