Risk Management Division Manager (Hospital)
Job Purpose: Risk Management Department Manager (Hospital) To oversee the organization's risk management and medical risk operations, ensuring risk control and prevention. This includes promoting a risk-aware culture to support business operations in alignment with hospital policies, corporate direction, and the hospital director's strategy.
Key Accountabilities: Risk Management Department Manager (Hospital)
- Develop strategies, policies, and frameworks for risk management and medical risk management, including operational plans and business continuity plans aligned with the hospital’s business objectives.
- Establish systems and tools for risk assessment, including risk analysis and assessment models, to evaluate and analyze organizational risks.
- Plan and manage the implementation of risk management activities by designing operational frameworks, organizational risk management guidelines, and a risk management framework that aligns with the hospital's business operations.
- Oversee the risk management process, including implementing risk control and mitigation measures, risk recovery plans, and reporting risk incidents to support business operations.
- Monitor and evaluate risk management practices to enhance risk awareness among staff and ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and analysis of both current and future risks, comparing with best practices to optimize the hospital's risk management effectiveness.
- Serve as the central point for risk management coordination, working closely with the hospital's risk management committee to facilitate decision-making.
- Perform audits of high-risk areas and develop action plans to address vulnerabilities.
- Provide expert advice and consultations on risk management, including developing tools and processes to raise risk awareness and foster a proactive risk management culture.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Medicine, Health Science, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, or other related fields.
- Master’s degree in related fields, such as MBA, is preferred.
Experience
- At least 7-10 years of experience in risk management, quality assurance, or hospital accreditation systems, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in risk management within hospitals or the healthcare industry is preferred.
Qualifications: Risk Management Department Manager (Hospital)
- Practical knowledge and experience in risk management in healthcare or service organizations.
- Skills in assessing, analyzing, and developing risk management systems.
- Ability to plan and manage risk management systems both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of international risk management standards, regulations, and guidelines, such as the Institute of Risk Assessments and COSO.
