What you'll do:
As a Product Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the implementation of various aspects of our client's product management. Your responsibilities will span from developing a deep understanding of market segmentation and customer requirements to establishing a comprehensive product portfolio & roadmap. You will lead working group activities for assigned segments/products, managing timelines for new product plans, conducting field tests, implementing gate processes, and ensuring necessary arrangements for new product launches. Additionally, you will collaborate with the PLP function for SKU management.
- Develop a clear understanding of market segmentation, customer requirements, current product competitiveness, and industry & competitor movements
- Collaborate with various teams to collect and visualize market trends
- Develop business & product strategies for assigned segments
- Establish product portfolio & roadmap based on agreed strategy
- Lead assigned segment/product Working Group activity to validate business necessity for each project
- Manage overall timeline for new product plans
- Conduct field/proving ground tests to understand product performance/competitiveness
- Implement gate process to align and approve each step with all strategic functions
- Ensure necessary arrangements for new product launches in plants through new product launch process
- Collaborate with PLP function for phase in and phase out SKU management
