A leading human consulting firm is looking for a Managing Director (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to responsible for the creation and implementation of business strategy, financial performance, and management of Thailand’s operations.

About the Managing Director Role:

As the Managing Director, you will have the opportunity to make direct and real positive impact on Thailand’s future success. It subsumes four core accountability: Business Strategy Development and Implementation, General Management, Sales and Marketing, and Consulting Services. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible the formulation and implementation of Thailand’s business strategy and operational plans in alignment with company’s Vision, objectives, and strategic direction
• Operates as part of the ASEAN regional management team to execute on global and regional initiatives as directed by the company
• The Managing Director supervises the functions of client services and human resources and administration and collaborates with regional finance to plan and direct branch operations to help realise profitability of the business through improved productivity and efficiency
• Oversees entire operations in Thailand, providing leadership and direction on all activities inclusive of planning and developing specific operational policies, programs, procedures, and methods in line with enhancing business activity and profitability
• Responsible for controlling costs and expenses whilst maximising revenues thus achieving optimum profitability. Prioritize capital expenditure requirements
• Ensures that Thailand has the necessary capacity, capacities, and talent to meet the needs of the business and for sustained profitable growth
• Identifies management potential and development needs, agrees and sees to the implementation of appropriate action plans
• Ensures the implementation of prescribed performance management systems and processes
• Business Development: Setting appropriate sales and marketing strategies and tactics to provide the company’s products and services
• Direct and significant business development activities with blue chip accounts and strategic prospects (i.e.,supporting key sales opportunities to close and ensuring expansion and penetration of revenue with current client projects)
• Implementing effective business development progresses to grow the business, inclusive of effective segmentation and portfolio management to maximise market share and profits while ensuring customers are satisfied.

To succeed in the Managing Director, you will need to have an ability to work effectively and co-operative with other counter part.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of country’s socio-economic and political trends, business and competitive landscape, industry and market trends and their impact on company business in country
• Basic understanding of how to run a company laws, rules and regulations involved
• Use financial data to design strategy/business planning
• Align departments and team goals to the organisation's strategy and culture
• Effectively use performance management systems to drive accountability
• Successfully execute major projects or initiatives organisation wide
• Present to Board of Directors or senior executive team (internal or external) to gain buy-in for unit strategy, operational plans, and/or organisation wide initiative
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with major customers
