Managing Director – Food Retail & Coffee

Salary: 300,000–420,000 THB
Location: Bangkok

A leading organisation in the food retail and coffee sector is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Bangkok-based operations. This senior leadership role offers full accountability for setting strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and delivering sustainable commercial growth across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market opportunities.

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple food retail outlets, maintaining high standards of quality, service, and efficiency.

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share within the competitive coffee sector.

• Manage full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.

• Lead, develop, and motivate senior management and operational teams to build a strong, performance-driven culture.

• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and suppliers to support business continuity and brand reputation.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, food safety standards, and corporate governance requirements.

• Report regularly to the Board or shareholders on business performance, risks, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven executive-level experience in food retail, coffee, or a related consumer business.

• Strong track record in managing multi-site operations and leading large teams.

• Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, commercial strategy, and operational improvement.

• Sound understanding of the food retail and coffee market, ideally with exposure to both local and international best practices.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Strategic, analytical, and hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
