What you'll do:

As Head of Strategic Growth and Planning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s future by developing robust strategies that turn high-level ambitions into actionable roadmaps. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing vast amounts of data to uncover valuable insights, conducting thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends, and monitoring the health of ongoing initiatives.   • Monitor performance metrics rigorously, evaluating the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and pivoting approaches as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Act as a diplomatic bridge between diverse departments, aligning stakeholders from executive leadership to frontline teams around common objectives.

What you bring:

To excel as Head of Strategic Growth and Planning, you will bring extensive experience in financial planning within fast-moving consumer goods or technology sectors where finance plays a central role in shaping business decisions. Your background should include hands-on proficiency with advanced analytics platforms—enabling you to interpret complex datasets efficiently—and ideally some knowledge of SQL for deeper data exploration.

  • At least seven years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance or Business Controlling within FMCG, Retail or technology-driven businesses where finance drives decision-making.
  • Proficiency in modern Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker; comfortable working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of SQL is highly advantageous for handling complex data queries and supporting advanced analytics needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively using data-driven arguments when evaluating investments or strategic opportunities.
