What you'll do:

As a Managing Director, you will play a crucial role in moulding the future of our client's business. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing revenue and profit & loss at the country level, while also leading a team in new business development. Your role will involve spotting growth opportunities, delivering on sales targets, and building strong relationships with clients. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to maximise the impact on accounts and drive retention and potential upselling opportunities.

  • Spot growth opportunities with existing and new client groups
  • Achieve agreed quarterly / annual sales targets through new business development
  • Compile and analyse weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual sales reports to develop realistic sales pipeline
  • Formulate mid to long term strategies that enhance existing client relationships
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure maximum effect on accounts
  • Acquire a solid understanding of Audience Measurement solutions along with other relevant products

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Managing Director position brings a wealth of experience in the media industry, particularly in sales or marketing roles within the TV broadcasting sector. You should have a proven track record of developing strategic sales plans and executing them successfully at a country level. Your consultative selling skills will be crucial in driving new business development and achieving set sales targets. Proficiency in Google Suite Applications is essential for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Minimum 10 years of media experience, preferably in sales or marketing roles from the media or TV broadcasting industry
  • Strong network within the media, broadcasting and publishing industry
  • Proven experience in developing strategic sales plans, and executing them successfully at country level
  • Experience in consultative selling process
  • Proficient in Google Suite Applications – GMail, Google Doc, Google Slides
