What you'll do:

Lead the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) for a new medical device manufacturing plant
Build and develop a high-performing Quality team through recruitment, coaching, and performance management
Serve as the Thailand plant’s management representative to ensure compliance with all applicable quality regulations
Oversee routine quality control operations to ensure products meet predefined criteria, regulatory requirements, and both company and customer expectations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select, develop, and manage supplier performance in line with compliance and business needs
Act as the primary contact for customers on quality matters, including trend reporting, complaint handling, deviation management, and product transfers
Manage the calibration system to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement processes
Lead external audit activities, including customer audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party assessments
Oversee the validation system, including establishing guidelines, coordinating execution, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across the organization
Promote a strong “Quality First” culture and regulatory compliance through training, daily operations, and engagement activities
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

What you bring:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences or engineering-related disciplines is preferred for this position as it provides essential foundational knowledge for success.
At least six years of relevant experience managing overall quality functions within the healthcare sector—such as pharmaceutical or medical device companies—is required to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in setting up comprehensive quality systems from scratch as well as managing high-performing teams is highly valued for this role.
Experience with ISO certification processes or applications for health authority permissions is considered advantageous when addressing compliance challenges.
Proven track record supporting product transfer projects ensures smooth transitions without compromising on regulatory or business requirements.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, auditors, and customers on critical quality matters.
Leadership abilities are essential for recruiting talent into your team while providing ongoing coaching and performance management support.
A high level of integrity is crucial when reporting sensitive issues transparently to top management within the organisation.
Fluency in both English and Thai enables effective communication across diverse teams and external partners.
